Today, I’m going to give you some tips on how to effectively grow back an assailant with the “Ippon Ken tsuki” technique.

Let’s imagine that someone is coming towards. He seems threatening, his arms in the air, either to burst your eyes or to strangle you, in any case, to fight.

The Ippon Ken Tsuki technique

First, you will tighten your fists and present your index finger, more precisely, the phalanx of your index finger. Don’t pull it all the way out, just slightly, so that the tip of your index finger comes out and locks with your thumb.

Try striking your hand to see if there is resistance and check if your index finger is “solid” enough to make sure you won’t break it by inflicting an impact.

Here we are in training, so we don’t want to hit our partner like a savage to hurt him. However, in case of aggression, you must give it all you’ve got.

Once your fist is strong enough, aim for strategic pressure points: the nipple, or the are just below it.

In guard, with your head in the shoulders in order to take any possible blows, you will hit the sensitive part with a twisting blow. In a real situation, don’t forget to take back your safety distance, or even to run away.

A very “tender” area

The whole pectoral part, the nipples, above or below, is a very sensitive part and big enough to inflict a lot of impacts.

Like a drilling machine…

If this strike is inflicted with precision and force, it will have the effect of a drill on your attacker. This seemingly innocuous trap is not. If it’s executed with power, it’s likely to discourage your attacker and allow you to escape.

In training, it is recommended that you lightly tap and vigorously massage your partner’s pectoral after each impact.
