Right through and non-stop
We can use all the natural weapons the human body has: hammer fists, palms, elbows, etc. It may not last long, even 30 seconds, but it doesn’t matter because it’s 30 seconds at full speed! You will probably be out of breath after 10 seconds, because it is not about hitting one blow after another, but rather hitting in a flurry and with all your strength, as long as possible. However, you don’t want to forget to breathe since it is what allows you to hold on for a long time and increase your strength and energy tenfold. Give it all you’ve got, non-stop!
When performing this type of exercise, it is important to play along – even if it is only for 2 seconds – and give all you’ve got. This will let you realize your physical and mental abilities, especially your power, tenacity, determination and many other qualities.
Externalize
If, unfortunately, you have already been victim of an aggression, maybe deep inside you, something that burdens you has remained stuck. Then, you must learn to externalize it! It’s won’t be easy, but over time you’ll learn how to use your anger or any worries in your personal life that make you feel “edgy” and need to get it out. These feelings are powerful weapons! For now, you see them as burdens difficult to bear, but then you will realize that this anger in you is a weapon to be used!
During training, we are “relaxed”, we kid around, but in the street, we must not forget that stress is increased tenfold and can overwhelm us at any time.
Hit hard
Hammer fists, nudge, headbutts, whatever you feel like! Mix the blows if you want, but hit well, hard and fully!
Don’t forget that in self defense, you must have a survival mindset: someone in your family is in danger, you are in danger:
- either you give it all you have now and defend yourself as best as you can,
- or it’s over
